A Lovely You – Makeup Tips for Every Woman

Archive for the ‘Most Wanted’ Category

Good morning ladies! After lusting over some of the latest beauty products to hit the market, I’ve narrowed my (admittedly huge) list to include a few of my most-wanted products this month. Check them out and let me know if these are on your wish list, too!

Shade: Opal Lights

1. Maybelline Luminous Lights Eyeshadow Quad

I’ve seen mixed reviews on these around the beauty blogosphere, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to try them for myself – they look too darn pretty to resist!

2. Bliss High Intensity 24-“Heaven” Healing Body Balm

Yes, please! At $35, this ain’t cheap – but I’ll admit I’m intrigued by its claims of 24-hour hydration that will heal dry and damaged skin. My skin could definitely use this level of TLC!

3. Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil

I’m a little obsessed with hair oil after trying Sundari’s Neem & Coconut Oil, and this one from Bumble and Bumble looks kind of awesome. Six oils + two extracts supposedly work together to tame flyaways, soften and add shine – sign me up!

Have you tried any of these? What did you think?

As a beauty junkie, there are always tons of products on my wish list. This month, there are several that have caught my eye… I had to really work to narrow down what I want the most! In no particular order, here they are.

1. Ojon Rare Blend Oil Total Hair Therapy

I’ll be honest – the first reason this made it onto my wish list was because the bottle is so darn pretty! I am a sucker for pretty packaging. Reading the rave reviews helped cement this beauty towards the top of my list. The price tag is steeeeeep for such a tiny amount, though!

($35, Sephora)

Color Shown: Sweetheart

2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

I seriously want these – like, NOW. However, none of the stores in my area seem to carry them. I know I could buy them from Target online but I hesitate to pay full price for a product that may not live up to the hype – and paying for shipping is annoying if I only want one or two things. I’ll just have to keep stalking the stores until one of these babies is mine!

($7.69, Target)

3. Soap & Glory Mighty Mouth Extreme Hydrating Super Glossy Lip Balm

I don’t know what it is about Soap & Glory products that thrills me, but anytime they come out with something new I want it – desperately. Since I’m already a lip balm junkie, I’d love to have this sleek tube added to my makeup bag. This may be one of those impulse buys I end up treating myself too, but until (or if) that happens, I’ll drool over it in the meantime.

($22, Sephora)

This list could easily end up 10 times longer, but I think narrowing it down to three choices is more than enough! What beauty products are you currently wishing for?

I’ve had my eye on a few things this month. Whether I’ll actually get them or not is another story entirely… but I’d love to share with you lusted-after beauty products this month. Maybe we’ll share a favorite?

Too Faced Summer Eye Summertime Sexy Eyeshadow

I’m a sucker for eyeshadow palettes, especially when they revolve around spring and summer. This palette contains plenty of neutrals AND fun brights that are totally tropical-inspired. LOVE IT. I would definitely have fun playing around with the bright pink and orange shades.

($36, Sephora)

Philosophy Mangos & Cream Lipshine

For regular readers, you already know I love Philosophy’s lipshines. That’s why I am absolutely lusting after their new Mangos & Cream Lip Shine! It sounds like an absolute delicious treat, doesn’t it? Yum.

($10, Ulta)

Boscia Super Cool De-Puffing Eye Balm

I doubt I would ever spend $26 on an eye balm, but I am a sucker for cooling products – especially when it involves the eyes. Plus, this little guy just looks so darn cute! (I know, I’m weird.) This would be great when I’ve pulled an all nighter or need some cooling relief after a long, hot summer day.

($26, Sephora)

Hard Candy Kal-Eye-Descope Baked Eyeshadow Duos

I love the packaging and “edgy” look of Hard Candy products and these eyeshadow duos really caught my eye when I saw them at Walmart. They have neutrals AND fun brights, so I could really play around with my look.

($6, Walmart)

What about you, ladies? What products are you currently lusting after this month?

Taking a cue from Princesagr, I thought it would be fun to make a monthly wish list of products I’m currently craving. Without further ado, I present to you February’s Most Wanted!

1. Sephora by OPI Bohemian Brights Mini Nail Polish Set

I have never seen a nail polish collection where I liked every single shade, but the Bohemian Brights set is a 100% winner in my book! I love, love LOVE the brights, the neutrals and that snazzy olive shade – it’s so different than any polish I already own.

($24, Sephora)

2. NYX Stick Blush

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of an NYX junkie, which is why I really want their new stick blush. I love almost all of the eight shades they offer, but my favorites are Orchid and Pink Poppy. They remind me of those Tarte cream blushes, but a lot more budget-friendly.

($6, NYX)

3. Ulta Extreme Wear Whipped Eyeshadow

These eyeshadows  look so fun! I am especially craving Cream Puff and Berry Meringue, but I’d be happy with any of them. I haven’t heard much about these shadows yet, but considering my latest shadow addiction I know I’ll need to pick a few of these up soon.

($8, Ulta)

4. Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstain

I’m a sucker for lipstains, especially the marker-style variety like these. I must have them! Plum Flushed and Cherry Pop are my current must-have’s of the moment, so as soon as I get a little more spending cash you can bet I’ll be picking up those shades.

($5.99, Drugstore.com)

What are your February must-haves? Have you tried any of mine? If so, let me know your thoughts so I know whether or not they’re worth the money.
