A Lovely You – Makeup Tips for Every Woman

Posts Tagged ‘WalMart

I’ve had my eye on a few things this month. Whether I’ll actually get them or not is another story entirely… but I’d love to share with you lusted-after beauty products this month. Maybe we’ll share a favorite?

Too Faced Summer Eye Summertime Sexy Eyeshadow

I’m a sucker for eyeshadow palettes, especially when they revolve around spring and summer. This palette contains plenty of neutrals AND fun brights that are totally tropical-inspired. LOVE IT. I would definitely have fun playing around with the bright pink and orange shades.

Philosophy Mangos & Cream Lipshine

For regular readers, you already know I love Philosophy’s lipshines. That’s why I am absolutely lusting after their new Mangos & Cream Lip Shine! It sounds like an absolute delicious treat, doesn’t it? Yum.

Boscia Super Cool De-Puffing Eye Balm

I doubt I would ever spend $26 on an eye balm, but I am a sucker for cooling products – especially when it involves the eyes. Plus, this little guy just looks so darn cute! (I know, I’m weird.) This would be great when I’ve pulled an all nighter or need some cooling relief after a long, hot summer day.

Hard Candy Kal-Eye-Descope Baked Eyeshadow Duos

I love the packaging and “edgy” look of Hard Candy products and these eyeshadow duos really caught my eye when I saw them at Walmart. They have neutrals AND fun brights, so I could really play around with my look.

What about you, ladies? What products are you currently lusting after this month?

A new disposable razor from Schick – the Xtreme3 Eco – is the first disposable razor that uses 100% recycled materials in its handle, as well as 100% post-consumer paper in its packaging. Current estimates by the company say that they will be saving 103,000 pounds of plastic material and 15,500 pounds of paper of paper from ending up in landfills annually.

Says Suma Nagaraj, brand manager for Schick Xtreme3:

We know consumers are doing their part to live more sustainably, and we wanted to provide a simple way for them to do so with their shave. At Schick, we’re taking proactive steps to minimize the impact of our products and manufacturing processes on the environment, and we’re continually looking for ways to improve—creating this product was the next step in our journey.

Shick wanted to have a more immediate impact on the environment while they designed this razor. With that in mind, they turned to common household items – like hangers, buckets and pails – and turned those into the handle of the Xtreme 3. National distribution will start in April, but the razors are currently available at Walmart.

Earlier today, Pacific World Corporation announced the upcoming launch of SensatioNail Invincible Gel Nail Polish. This innovative gel polish will give consumers up to two weeks of damage-free wear, allowing for a no-chip, no-smudge and no-break DIY manicure.

Says Marwan Zreik, SensatioNail Vice President of Marketing and Research & Development:

The overall nail care category has seen significant growth over the past year. As consumer focus and purchasing behavior has shifted to at-home, DIY products, we are thrilled to bring such an innovative product line to the market place. SensatioNail is the answer to multiple consumer and category demands, and never before has a gel product collection of this quality been available outside of the salon space.

The new line will debut at the end of November, and the initial product launch will feature the SensatioNail Starter Kit, packed with every tool you need for a salon quality manicure at home. In January, the complete collection will be rolled out including 12 fashion-forward colors.

As SensatioNail Creative Director Clara Lee puts it, they “don’t want the gel manicure experience to be limited to a salon.”

SensatioNail products will be available at WalMart and select CVS locations worldwide, and products will retail for anywhere between $12 and $60. For more information, please visit Facebook.com/SensatioNail.
